Politics:
There are many different political aspects of Egypt due to their modern day society. At this moment is going through the arab-spring. The arab-spring is a revolutionary wave creating riots, civil wars, and protesters, both violent and non-violent. By December 2013 rules had been forced onto different countries including Libya, Egypt (twice), Yemen, and Tunisia also causing civil uprisings in Syria and Bahrain. Many different demonstrations have been violent receiving responses from pro-government and authorities.
Another popular modern day political aspect in Egypt is involving the presidential candidate Sisi. Sisi is a Muslim Brotherhood and is Egypt's newest and present president. He is a former defense minister and retired military man now looking to help Egypt in even more ways than he already has.
Economy:
Egypt's economy is deteriorating due to recent reports by CAPMAS- the number of people living poverty has risen to 26.3% of the population while in 2000 it stood at 16.7%. Many Egyptians predict the the upcoming president will help increase the existing economic ratings for the better while other believe a new administration will be unable to solve the deepening crises. Violence is continuing to be an ongoing problem leading to a decline in working Egyptians.
